As the nation's population grows and diversifies, Catalina Health Resource is helping healthcare products companies reach their audiences more effectively. Catalina PatientLinkMC does that by delivering PatientLink messages in the patient's language of choice. To create PatientLinkMC, CHR uses data from multiple sources to determine what languages are likely to be used by 25% or more of the individuals living and shopping in a particular ZIP code. CHR then matches these ZIP codes to its list of CHR network pharmacies. The PatientLinkMC messages provide both the English-language message and an identical translation in the selected language. The messages print side-by-side inside PatientLinkMC, ensuring relevant message delivery for patients who prefer the selected language and those who prefer the English-language message. (Currently only Spanish-language messages can be created to accompany the original PatientLink message. Additional languages are planned for the future.)
